Bucks and Bass! Take on the 20-20 challenge!
Can you take down a buck with a 20” spread? How about a bass longer than 20”? You are about to have your chance. It will be you and your hunting party behind our private 1,900-acre high fence that includes several ponds dotted across the land and some of the best bucks you will find in South GA.
We will be gun and/or bow hunting just outside of McRae, GA behind lock and key at our Southern Roots farm in what will become your exclusive playground for 3 days! Arrive early afternoon, and after we make sure your bow/gun is hitting bullseye, we will head straight to the deer woods and climb into one of our spaciously enclosed Redneck hunting stands. We will be going after a variety of targets with bucks scoring in the Boone and Crocket 115-135 range. The next day and a half will be spent chasing fins and fur.
Fine southern meals with a cooler/bar that has no bottom will be awaiting you. Our 2,500 square foot cabin has plenty of room and enjoy the pool table, corn hole, or big screen TV if you choose to loaf around. All you need to do is bring an itchy trigger finger and a cooler for the great venison!
Limit: 1 buck and 1 doe.
All bass are catch and release.
Buck must have been approved by guide before harvesting. Failure to abide by this rule can lead to penalties and fines.
Cost: - 1-2 hunting party- $2,600 per hunter
- 3-4 hunting party: $2,350 per hunter
All nonhunters for this 3-day excursion (can sit alongside in most hunting situations): $500
Rainy Day Rule: We have tremendous confidence in our deer management and herd. If you do not see a targeted buck after your 4-gun hunts, then we will gladly credit you $500 towards your total bill.

Turkey and Bass Cast and Blast! Take on the 10”-10lb Challenge!
We throw you the keys to our 1,900-acre high fence at Southern Roots in McRae, Georgia, and it’s all yours. Talk about exclusive, you are behind lock and key making this playground your backyard for 3 days as the only hunters you have to worry about is you! Arrive early afternoon to settle in and then hit the woods before it gets too late, then spend the next day and a half chasing feathers and fins. There are plenty of 10” bearded gobblers and a few 10lb bass swimming around in our private ponds, so try our 10-10 challenge! We will make sure and introduce you to the land and have a boat ready for midday fishing, but it’s all yours.
Cook your favorite meal at our outside pavilion kitchen and there is plenty of room for privacy in our 2,500 square foot lodge. Enjoy the pool table, corn hole, or big screen TV as well. If you want to go into town to load up on groceries, or eat out, or try golf at the award-winning Little Ocmulgee Golf Course, then Mcrae is just four miles down the road.
Details: Non guided (preferred): $1,500 per hunter for 4 turkey hunts and fishing
Guided: $2,100 per hunter for 4 turkey hunts and fishing
Limit: 1 bearded turkey, catch and release all bass and bream, 10 white perch per person
Rules: All Georgia turkey hunting laws apply. If you shoot a bird but cannot find it then you have limited out. Maximum Hunters: 3 Nonhunters: $200 for the excursion

If you like pork, join us on a guided night hunt so you can make some of your favorite BBQ with your trophy kill. These thermal night hunts will be the most fun you have had in a long time and an experience to remember!
Guided Hunt- up to a 4-hour excursion
1 hunter: $400
2 hunters: $300 per hunter
3 hunters: $250 per hunter
*There is no bag limit on feral swine Processing- $40 per hog
“Lodge With Us”- With this being an overnight hunt we recommend that you stay at our lodge and enjoy all the amenities. - Arrive at 3pm to our lodge and settle in - Enjoy a lite supper, so it keeps you satisfied, but doesn’t slow you down for the hunt - Follow your guide out to the hunting area - After hunting for 4 hours, you can come back to the lodge and sleep. When you wake up your meat will be processed and, in your cooler, waiting for you. - We will have a southern cooked breakfast prepared and ready for you when you wake up as well - Check Out: 11am - Lodging rates apply
